Limited Warranty

Maple Kitchen Cabinet warrants to the original consumer purchaser that Maple Kitchen Cabinet products will be free from defects in materials for five (5) years from the date of substantial completion for residential use, and two (2) years for commercial and rental use. This warranty is not transferable and applies only within Canada.

If defects are found during the warranty period, Maple Kitchen Cabinet will, at its discretion and upon inspection by a qualified representative, repair or replace the defective part at no charge. Coverage is limited to parts and materials supplied by Maple Kitchen Cabinet and excludes installation labor. In some instances, a credit adjustment may be issued in lieu of repair or replacement.

Warranty Coverage

  • Parts and materials supplied by Maple Kitchen Cabinet

  • 5 years warranty on cabinet hardware (hinges, drawer slides, metal slides) for residential use.

Limitations and Exclusions

  • Natural Characteristics

    • Aging, darkening of wood, color or grain variations, and normal wear are not defects.

    • Gaps in joints arising from temperature or humidity changes are excluded.

  • Environmental Impact

    • Color shifts due to sunlight, smoke, or household cleaners may prevent an exact match on repairs.

  • Finish Warranty

    • Small cracks, chips, or joint separations from natural expansion and contraction are not covered.

  • Warping and Twisting

    • No coverage for solid wood components over 24″ in width or 48″ in height/length.

  • Misuse and Improper Handling

    • Damage from improper storage, installation errors, abuse, exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or significant humidity changes is excluded.

  • Third–Party Products

    • Countertops, sinks, appliances, flooring, tiles, plumbing fixtures, and any associated labor costs are not covered by this warranty.

  • Unauthorized Installations 

    •  Warranty applies only if products are installed by Maple Kitchen Cabinet authorized installers. Products installed by third parties are not covered.

Nicks, scratches and abrasions will not be covered as a result of normal use over the life of the product.

Voiding of Warranty

  • Modification or alteration of products without Maple Kitchen Cabinet authorization

  • Products damaged prior to or during installation by anyone other than Maple Kitchen Cabinet authorized installers.

  • Failure to pay all invoices in full within thirty (30) days after substantial completion

Limitation of Liability

Maple Kitchen Cabinet shall not be liable for any consequential, special, or indirect damages. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent that applicable law disallows such limitations, any implied warranties are limited to the shortest duration permitted by law.

Initiating a Warranty Claim

  1. Note concealed damage on the packing slip and notify Maple Kitchen Cabinet in writing within ten (10) days.

  1. Contact your contractor or reseller for initial authorization, unless otherwise directed by Maple Kitchen Cabinet.

  1. Email written claims to estimates@mkcs.ca with:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Date of substantial completion

  • Description and photos of the defect

No warranty work will be performed until all outstanding invoices are paid in full. Claims submitted after the specified warranty period or on unpaid invoices will be denied.
